Research Focus:
In the field of lithium ion batteries, for silicon electrodes, one problem is poor cycle life. I am considering application of shape memory materials to silicon electrode. It’s believed super elastic effect influences performance to a large extent.
Furthermore, topics on varying microscopic mechanical properties of electrodes during charging/discharging cycles are also attractive.
